The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
There will be a “Charity” thread in the CA Forum, where members can discuss which charity we should select for the following month.

A neighbor heads a non-profit organization of continuing care retirement communities and provides hospice services:
The T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center will exhibit a world class and comprehensive approach to end of life care. The only one of its kind in Texas, and likely the nation, the Center will support five Centers of Excellence: Inpatient Care Center, Child and Family Bereavement Center, Education Training and Resource Center, Spiritual Care Center with Sanctuary and Chapel, and Outdoor Reflection Center.
They are 95% towards their goal, so every bit helps. All funds collected from the trial Forum subscription, trial Markets subscriptions and trial Trades subscriptions will go towards this worthy cause.
